The short version
- This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- It runs no analytics, ads or tracking, and it loads nothing from other companies. Fonts, images and scripts all come from this site.
- Pages for individual listings, dealers, search and reports may be served by our listing service on Cloudflare. Those pages may load Google Fonts and, on the report page, Cloudflare Turnstile.
- The Throttle app doesn’t use cookies. It keeps a few things on your phone, like your sign-in session.
This website
Here’s what this site puts in your browser:

The fonts are self-hosted: your browser downloads them from this site, not from Google. Our pages also send a security header that tells your browser not to load scripts, fonts, frames or connections from anywhere else.
Your browser may still keep its own cache of pages and images so they load faster next time. That’s your browser’s doing, not ours, and you can clear it whenever you like.
Our host, Vercel, receives your IP address and browser details with each request, like any web host, and keeps short request logs. The launch-list form sends your email to our server when you press the button, without setting a cookie. The privacy policy explains what happens to it.
Listing, dealer, search and report pages
Links to individual listings, dealer pages, search results and the web report form may be served by our listing service, which runs on Cloudflare, instead of by this site. Until that service is switched on, those links bring you to this site instead. When it is on:
- Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details, like any host.
- Those pages may load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details.
- The report page may load Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from bots. It collects signals about your browser and device for that purpose.
Our listing service doesn’t set cookies of its own. Google and Cloudflare handle what they receive under their own privacy policies. If you open a shared listing on a phone without the app, the listing service may also keep a short-lived record so the app can open that listing after you install it; the privacy policy explains how.
The app
The Throttle app doesn’t use cookies or advertising identifiers. Like most apps, it keeps some information in its own storage on your phone so it works well:

| Display choices | Remembers your browse view and appearance setting. |
| Tips already shown | Stops the app repeating a safety tip in the same conversation or asking about notifications twice. |
| A random install id | Counts views and app activity when you’re signed out. It isn’t a device or advertising identifier. |
| Recently loaded screens | Opens the app faster and shows what you last saw while it refreshes. |
Signing out ends your session. Deleting the app removes all of this from your phone. What the app sends to our servers is covered in the privacy policy.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and other site data, usually under its privacy or site settings. Because this site sets none, blocking them changes nothing here.
Blocking third-party scripts can stop the Turnstile check on the web report form from loading. If that happens, report the listing in the app or email us.
We don’t track you across sites, so Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals don’t change anything here.
Changes to this notice
If we ever add a cookie, an analytics tool or anything that loads from another company, we’ll list it here before it goes live and update the dates at the top.
